Steamboat Ski Resort

Real Western culture and legendary skiing ride side-by-side in Steamboat. For three years running, our campaign has expressed what it means to live “The Steamboat Way” through cowboy poetry and music.

“Get On The Horse”
To broaden the brand voice for the 24/25 ski season we pivoted from cowboy poetry to songs that sing the praises of this special place. In doing so, I got to tap into my songwriter side, scribing all the lyrics and working up rough musical demos. From there, the composers at Coupe Studios and our musical talent, Colorado’s own Heavy Diamond Ring, made the ideas infinitely better.

We extended “The Steamboat Way” theme across the brand’s messaging – from print ads to employee recruitment to promotions on flights to Steamboat and more. Like the views from atop Mount Werner, this idea can go on and on.
